Basement, cellar:
Villa Galilea has three living levels. You can either use the villa via the external stairs to the ground floor or go down via the garage to the glass elevator or stairwell. In the basement there is the garage and a utility room. Optionally, an additional fitness room, SPA area, office or 4th bedroom can be created. There is another parking space on the property.
Ground floor:
On the ground floor of the villa there are three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and private terrace area. In addition, there is the entrance to the house, a hallway and a small utility room for a washing machine and dryer. Each bedroom has access to the spacious pool terrace.
Upper floor:
On the upper floor there is the spacious, open living/dining area with a free-standing fireplace in the middle. An open kitchen, a practical storage room and a guest toilet, as well as a large sun terrace with spectacular views. A terrace next to the kitchen leads to the pool area via an external staircase.
Swimming pool:
Spacious salt water pool with overflow, for a water level at terrace floor level, modern pool technology with electrolysis for gentle hygiene. The pool is prepared for the later installation of a counter-current system. At the pool area there is a pool house with a veranda for a later outdoor kitchen (connections are prepared) and a guest toilet with shower.
Outdoor area:
Since the property is on a slope, natural stone walls and stairwells were built in various places to fortify it, which are spread over the entire garden. The property is fenced and there are terraces in various areas from which you can enjoy the very beautiful views of the mountains and the sea.
Special function:
A specially constructed shell forms the basis for a special house. This is high quality insulated and sealed. The masonry consists of a clay tile (Termoarcilla - poroton-like stone), which regulates the room climate. Reinforced concrete belts, window/door lintels and joints of the concrete ceiling slabs are provided with suitable insulation in the outer wall area/connection. This construction insulates the transitions between the brick and the concrete part in such a way that an even temperature passage through the wall is guaranteed. This prevents the formation of condensation and mold. The horizontal moisture barrier under the entire masonry solves one of the biggest problems when building a house in Mallorca: rising moisture from the ground! The roof is provided with external insulation of at least 10 cm and a suitable seal/barrier as well as a typical local monk and nun roof tile covering.
Galilea is a town in the west of Mallorca, belonging to the municipality of Puigpunyent. It is 18 km from Palma, 4 from Puigpunyent and 11 km from Calvià. Near it we find the towns of Calvià, Puigpunyent and Es Capdella. The approximate population of the city is 300 residents.
