Location:
The quiet seaside resort of Costa de la Calma is located between Palma de Mallorca and Andratx. It belongs to Santa Ponsa and is located on the south-west coast of the island of Mallorca. Its name translates into German as ‘coast of tranquillity’ and this is exactly what its almost one thousand inhabitants and the predominantly German tourists find here. You will look in vain for large hotel complexes in the area around Costa de la Calma; instead, numerous holiday homes and flats characterise the region alongside villas and small luxury hotels.

Due to its size, Costa de la Calma's tourist infrastructure does not quite match that of other holiday resorts. Good restaurants and inviting cafés can of course also be found here, but everything else can be found in Santa Ponsa, which is only a few minutes' walk away. The capital Palma de Mallorca is also easy to reach via the local motorway exit or public transport.
