Hiking in the Tramuntana Mountains

The north-west of the island of Mallorca is still considered an insider tip by many people. One of the reasons for this is that large hotel buildings are still a rarity here and the landscape is mainly characterised by the Tramuntana mountains. Together with friends, we made our way from Deìa to Valldemossa, following an old bridle path. The interplay between the proximity to the coast and the mountains made this hike a unique experience.
