Santa Maria del Cami is located in the center of Mallorca.

The town of Santa Maria del Cami is located in the interior of the island, 14 kilometers from Palma. Nearby towns include Consell, Marratxi and Santa Eugenia. The town currently has around 6,500 inhabitants. The first cultural monuments in the town date back to the pre-thalotic period (between 3,000 and 1,400 BC).

One of the finds from this period is the Coba de Moro, discovered in 1903.
